ncient legends hold that the king and queen of vampires, Enkil and Akasha, sit entombed in endless sleep somewhere underground. If they were to be destroyed, perhaps all vampires would fade from the world—or perhaps not. Their loyal servant, the vampire Marius, is rumored to guard them against such a fate while they sleep. The exact location of their resting place is shrouded in legend, but is held to be guarded by many vampires and powerful spirits, and its entrance on the Surface shrouded by a mystical, concealing mist. Evil abounds within this subterranean realm, and intruders would do well to tread with care if they would escape with their lives.
