t is said that in the far reaches of the Surface, in the great kingdom of Centranon, a talented sculptor in wax once created a display of waxworks to honor some of the greatest avatars of the lands, hollowing out a subterranean network of tunnels to serve as a museum for his greatest artistry. Alas, somehow evil crept in and corrupted this work of artistry. Now, the wax statues walk their cavernous, subterranean museum, imbued with all the power of the ancient heroes after whom they were modeled—and ancient villains too, for the forces of evil perverted the creation to include waxworks for their own champions.

In more recent times, King Stephen of Centranon has ordered the posting of guards within the Wax Museum. Whether this is to keep intruders out or to keep the enchanted waxworks in remains unclear.
