Rushock Bog

Rushock Bog is a large wetland area formed by the flow of the Water entering flat lowlands in the West Farthing of the Shire. The main channel of the Water—navigable at the best of times only by small boats—can hardly be made out amongst the reeds, bulrushes, and floating mats of grass and mud. Noisy ducks find Rushock Bog a desirable home for its abundant nesting and feeding spaces.
