o the northeast of the Eastern Mountains are foothills of the Sierra Mountains. This range is home to a wide variety of animals, some timid and others more dangerous. Explorers warn that visitors to the region should carry protection against snakebite.
Less predictable, however—and perhaps more dangerous—than the animals of the Sierra Mountains are the people who choose to dwell there. Rugged rangers and serene, nature-communing druids are known to inhabit the forested parts of the mountain range, and a few tales and rumors speak of other, darker powers or factions with an interest in the land of Sierra. |
