he Seven Heavens, a dimension connected by mystical means to the Surface world, are the source of good and holiness, just as the Abyss is the paramount source of otherplanar evil. Sages posit that the Heavens are ruled by an archetype of Good—perhaps a powerful deity, or perhaps more of an eternal force—essentially, a goodness elemental. The Heavens are guarded by powerful beings: those paladins, goodly clerics, and other righteous folk who have visited there and returned report having seen spirits of dead elven and dwarven heroes, as well as the noble aasim, the angelic folk native to the Heavens. Returning clerics speak with awe of a holy mountain, a blessed forest, and a castle of righteousness.
