The Ivory Tower

Situated in western Nevrast, the Ivory Tower is eternally guarded by its champion Sisyphus, a mighty warrior who allows only adventurers of 20th or lower level to enter. Within this ancient edifice an adventurer will find a living chessboard, left by the wizard Exxon many thousands of years ago, with black chess pieces attuned to evil and white chess pieces of a more goodly nature. In times more recent, other creatures have also made their homes in the Tower, including strange beasts of animated oil, a small colony of elves, and more bizarre beings.
