Many varieties of mushrooms and related fungi grow here, tended by svirfnebli slaves under the careful watch of House Tormtor's bugbear overseers. Rumor has it that House Tormtor is also trying to breed shriekers to warn off intruders.
In addition to their status as an important food production site, the Fungus Gardens are also a favored trysting spot for young drow females and their suitors, and it is rare to see any of the comfortable bowers in the Gardens empty for long.
