Hur'thragl

ituated in the southwestern part of the main district of Aluhryn, the tower of Hur'thragl is the home base of most of the city's slave guards, under the command of a fearsome (and ugly) troll barbarian leader and trainer who resides on the tower's topmost level. Lesser guards patrol the lower levels, as do the orc slaves who keep the tower clean—or as clean as orcs know how. Roughly halfway up, the unusually large orc slavemaster Grimbash runs the Slave Keep, where the slave races can rent rooms. At the base of the tower, a thieving little kobold, K'pus, has set up a shop. So far, the guards have not yet thrown him out of the tower.

Beneath the tower proper, a network of caverns extends for some way beneath the streets of Aluhryn. These are the breeding pits of Hur'thragl, where the orcs, trolls, and other slave races spawn their young. Carrion crawlers infest these tunnels, preying on the weakest of the young slaves. This is pleasing to the drow overseers of the city, since only the strongest and fittest slaves survive to serve their bidding.
