 here are many domains and strongholds concealed in the wild places of the Underdark. One such is the area known as the Wight Warrens. This deep subterranean stronghold is home to numerous undead horrors called cavewights, led by a powerful and possibly insane cavewight lord. Members of a mysterious race known as ur-viles also dwell here, seemingly under the guidance of one or more wise loremasters of their kind. The relationship between the living ur-viles and the undead cavewights is clearly a complex one, and drow mages have not yet been able to fathom it—or, if they have, they have told no one of it.
